Alderton University's Office of Academic Affairs is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Academic Affairs Coordinator to support the daily operations of our academic programs and faculty services. This role is central to the smooth functioning of curriculum administration, faculty support, and institutional compliance. It is ideal for professionals with a background in higher education administration or academic advising who are ready to grow within a respected university environment.
Serve as a liaison between the Provost's office, academic deans, and department chairs.
Coordinate faculty credentialing, course scheduling, and semester calendar management.
Maintain accurate records of academic policies, program changes, and accreditation documentation.
Assist with the preparation of academic program reviews and accreditation reports.
Coordinate faculty onboarding, orientation, and professional development logistics.
Manage communications and meeting schedules for the VP of Academic Affairs.
Support curriculum committee processes, including tracking and documenting course proposals.
Bachelor's degree in Education, Higher Education Administration, Business, or related field.
1 to 3 years of experience in a college or university administrative environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with student information systems such as Banner or PeopleSoft.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with academic accreditation processes is a plus.
Master's degree in Higher Education or related field.
Experience with FERPA compliance and academic records management.
Knowledge of curriculum management platforms such as Curriculog or CourseLeaf.
